Week 32 update.
Premier Division update
Welcome Institute crowned Premier champions!
Wayne Martin, Dave Bolton, Adam Clift & Guy Dennis.
Congratulations to Welcome Institute on securing the Premier Division title this week! A hard-fought 3-2 victory over Alfreton, combined with a timely assist from Clowne Liberal ‘A’—who pulled off a superb win against title challengers Lennons ‘H’—sealed the first league championship for the Sutton-in-Ashfield side under the Welcome Institute banner.
Clowne’s 3-2 triumph over Lennons ‘H’ was undoubtedly their performance of the season. Richard Hill and Scott Anson delivered impressive breaks of 58 and 40 respectively, with Hill’s effort standing as the week’s highest. It's a proud moment for the bottom-placed side, who’ll be looking to build on that momentum as they face the new champions next week. Could another upset be on the cards?
Meanwhile, Hasland ‘A’ ended their campaign on a sour note. Fielding a depleted team, they suffered a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Brotherhood ‘A’, a side battling to stay in the Premier Division. Now level on points with Hasland, Brotherhood need just one point in their final fixture against Alfreton to secure top-flight survival.

Congratulations to Alfreton ‘B’ on clinching the Division Two title this week! Their hard-fought 3-2 victory over Hasland ‘D’ keeps their unbeaten record intact with just one match remaining. But can Hasland ‘B’ crash the celebrations when they take on the newly crowned champions next week?
